Come taste a dinner featuring traditional Norwegian lutefisk!
Bosque County has a large concentration of Norwegian descendants. Lutefisk, made from dried whitefish, is a traditional dish of the Nordic countries. Since 1964, dinner guests have been coming from all over Texas, as well as from Norway, to enjoy this special evening.
The meal is served family-style by friendly high school students. During dinner, younger students dressed in traditional costumes entertain the crowd with their Norwegian dances.
Dinner includes sides and desserts, tea and coffee. For those who prefer an American meal, turkey & cornbread dressing is also available.
Advanced ticket purchase is encouraged. Tickets are usually on sale from around the beginning of October, to near Thanksgiving.
